Assembly

Welcome to the core of the TNY-360 build process! Whether you are a buyer of the Adventurous Kit (with all 3D parts included) or you are continuing straight from Fabrication, this section is for you.

The objective of this phase is to guide you through the mechanical and electrical assembly of your robot, ensuring everything goes smoothly without any fatal errors.

Take your time, follow the steps carefully, and let's put your quadruped together!

This guide is structured in 5 main steps :

  • Torso assembly
You will assemble the core of the robot, mount the PCBs and wire up all the motors and power components.
  • Head assembly
You will assemble the head of the robot, mount the Main PCB and wire up all the visor components.
  • First power up
You will power up the robot for the first time and perform the zero motor calibration, to ensure all the motors are centered before mounting the legs and ears.
  • Legs & ears assembly
You will assemble and mount the legs and ears to the body to complete the robot's physical structure.
  • Cables & aesthetic
You will route and secure all the cables inside the chassis, and install the aesthetic covers to give your TNY-360 its final look.
